Description :
Mace Oleoresin is the end product obtained by solvent extraction of the
dried flowers of Myristica fragrance van Houtte, Myristicaceae with the
subsequent removal of the solvent. It is a semisolid, waxy material. The
color of the oleoresins ranges from pale buff to amber to dark orange, odour
and taste are characteristic of nutmeg.
Specification :
Volatile Oil Content : Not less then 30%-31%(v/w) (30.3%)
Residual solvent : Less than 25 ppm (14 ppm)

The above quality is our standard specification. In addition to this
customized blends are also offered to meet specific requirements.
Shelf Life :
18 months from the date of manufacture when stored below 25
oC
in closed containers away from direct light and not under humid conditions.
Uses :
Mace Oleoresins are used as spice and seasoning mixes, for meats, sausages
and other food preparations.
